Golden Morning
Poem · by Priya · Class 5 · Amber Fort Academy, Jodhpur
A poem for the athletes who made us proud.
They ran, they jumped, they pulled, they threw,
They practised when the cold winds blew.
A ball, a bat, a stick, a bow,
They kept on trying, steady and slow.
When the golden medals shone,
It wasn't just for one alone;
It was the coach, the friend, the team,
A hundred hands, one shared dream.
