Up, up, up my kite will go,
Past the rooftops, high and low.
Red and yellow, blue and green,
The prettiest kite you have ever seen.
The string is tight, the wind is strong,
I run along and sing a song.
When it dips and dances free,
It feels as if it flies with me.
