The Day India Won Two Golds

I watched the cricket and hockey finals with my whole family.

On Saturday my whole family crowded around the television. First the cricket final: India scored 211 and Pakistan could not catch up, so India won by 19 runs. Then the hockey team beat Malaysia 5-1.

My grandfather, who played hockey in college, was jumping and cheering. He said, "This is how a team should play, everyone helping everyone."

I play badminton, and now I want to practise harder, because the athletes showed that success comes from hard work and teamwork.
