Tiger in the Forest
Poem · by Yuvan · Class 7 · Coral Reef School, Puducherry
Orange and black, with a velvet tread,…
Orange and black, with a velvet tread,
The tiger moves with a silent head.
Through tall green grass and in the shade,
He walks the paths that the forest made.
He is proud, he is strong, he is king,
But he needs the forest, every green thing.
If we protect it, he will stay,
And roar for us another day.
