Train Journey
Poem · by Navya · Class 2 · Golden Gate School, Patna
Chug-a-chug, chug-a-chug, goes the train,…
Chug-a-chug, chug-a-chug, goes the train,
Over the bridges, through the rain.
Fields of yellow and rivers wide,
The tea seller sings from side to side.
I count the poles and I wave at a cow,
The tunnel is dark, then bright, then how
The world rushes by in a green blur.
I wish this journey would never stir.
